| We were trolling along Horse Shoe lake and all of a sudden I get this real hard hit on my line, I set the hook and was in for a big fight. This trout didn’t want to be caught it tried to tangle in the propeller of the motor and kept going from one side of our boat to the other. I bought this pink rod and reel set up to keep my husband from using it. I know nothing about buying rods or reels and my husband kept saying you will never land a big one with that it will break. I have to say I though it was going to with this fish! I had to put the tip of the rod in the water because it was bent so much! I really thought it was going to snap! After a few minutes of fight with the Trout I finally landed it! It was great because I out fished my Father in law and my husband with my pink pole and its light up reel! =) |
