Trolling about 5 miles from the head off five fingers 7 strips about 12' just under the glacier water. Fish hit and took off up stream. Partner had to get my boat turned around full throttle on kicker almost striped, three lines still in water. Was able to keep up, retrive some line. Then it went down. Inlet depth around 1,000' I couldn't do a Frinken thing except try to thumb my Penn and see it go deep. The buck stopped short once again maybe 25 yards left on the reel. Then it was back and forth and the fish gods let me win this one. |
