Hooked up about a quarter of
the way out into the river,
seemed to be to big to give a
full jump because it was
surfacing periodically but would
not totally leave the water. After
about a 2 minute battle I
reached around behind me to
get my net while holding my
pole. (I was alone at first)
Caught the fish, took some
pictures by myself but could not
get a good enough one so i
called my girlfriend while i was
holding the fish submerged in
the net. She quickly ran down to
meet me and took this amazing
picture. I did not have scales so
there is really no way of telling
its exact size but i have size 10-
11 shoes and it was about 2 of
my shoe lengths. Overall an
amazing, exhilarating fight,
especially with my micro gear. |
