| Hooked off of Okaloosa Island Pier, Fort Walton Beach, FL. Threw spoon site fishing, Tarpon skyed eating the spoon. Jumped about 8 times. Got him to the pier in about 30 minutes then he jumped and popped off the spoon. You can see the spoon flying out of his mouth at the pier in the pic. We get them to the pier and the fish is caught. You need a Tarpon tag to keep a Tarpon, but they have no food value so we catch them and pop them off to enjoy a battle another day! |
