One great morning. We were trolling through a large school in the mouth of the bay. We had a few bumps but no hook ups. All of a sudden this fish hit and hell broke loose. I had first thought that I snagged one of the many sea lions that were swimming the bay, then I saw silver, jack-pot. I fought the beast for another 40 minutes before I saw color again. When we finally got him to the boat it was all we had to get him in. He had three other hooks in him and was spitting mass amounts of bait fish. The fish was so large he didn't fit in the fish box we had brought. It is, and I am sure will be the biggest salmon I have ever seen. One great morning. |
