I was fishing alone on a rainy June morning when this fresh spring chinook took my black and purple Jim Teeny style nymph. The fish jetted up river underneath two downed logs which stripped off my line to the backing instantly. I followed the fish, having to guide my rod underneath the logs. After about a 15 minute fight, I landed the fish. What an ADRENALINE rush! |
