This little monster seemed like nothing on the day I caught him, considering it was the same day my dad caught a 54# halibut...boy was that competition!! He put up such a fight that I had a good majority of the crew convinced that it was some kind of descent sized white seabass, especially since that was the target species. Now that I look at that picture, it seems to have grown (since it's not laying next to a halibut taller than me!) Not a bad result for my first overnight!! |
