Left the inlet for a daytime swordy trip with a few buddies and a whole slew of ladies at 630 am and set lines down to the bottom in about 2100 ft. ABout 30 minutes after we were set up, I noticed a slight bend of the rod tip and engaged the fish. After a 4 hour fight and plenty of acrobatic greyhounding, we landed this 500+ lb behemoth. |
