| Was sleeping on boat when mom yelled that there was a fish. all anyone saw was a skipping lure and thought she was seeing things. she pointed out the first sail attacking a lure next to the boat. as she hooked up i saw anouther on a teaser and dropped the chugger in front of the fish. it attacked mine and took off out of the water then ran. Hers jumped and spit the hook but I continued to fight mine. After over an hour and a half and 11 leader touches we pulled the sailfish onto the boat took measurements and a picture and successfully released the fish. it was my first billfish and i caught it without any help. |
