like always i was the only 1 left still camping or even fishing the lower beach that day..it had been slow for days and i had lost my 'a fish a day we get to stay' deal w/ the gf so i was packing when the bell rang, all is a blur till i set the hook, sing sing twords the big downed tree off site 3,i hate to say it but this big fish only lasted about 8-9 min..but all was normal till i seen it at waters edge, those 2 last runs was like a whole new fish was on there, ohh god how do i land this beauty, the gf,?, well love her but not her strong suit,,panicking...and here comes this big old guy with a DAMN LAKE TROUT NET, after a few choice man to man words i said ok,but ur last resort, well i had that fish coming in head first, calm, with the wave and ofcoarse jump goes lil net and tail first heave..well i jumped on the big guy and he was my lifetime best |
