Some buddies and I deemed a new fishing destination Location X during our sophmore year of college due to it being such a honey-hole. Usually we don't catch smallies smaller than 18' and this one definately fit that standard. I was thinking of what to throw when I saw the Sub-wart and decided it was a good choice. Not too long into fishing and BAM! I had a hit. Little did I know it was a toad and the biggest smallie of my life. It fought hard and I decided I would lip it at the edge of the canoe instead of letting Josh do the good deed. I am still stoked about this fish and would like to go back to catch her again. All fish are always released at Location X. Keep your Heritage alive!!! |
